Your Blackdown Shepherd Hut is set in a quiet corner of the land, designed for comfort, warmth and slow mornings. With a king size bed, an ensuite bathroom and a wood burner for chilly evenings, it is a peaceful place to rest and reconnect, with the spa and woodland walks just beyond your door.

Our breakfast hampers are delivered directly to your door, featuring fresh pastries, our signature homemade granola, creamy yoghurt, and seasonal fruit compote. With artisan tea and coffee already waiting in your hut, you can enjoy a fresh breakfast at your own pace as the land wakes up around you.
Outdoor kitchen & Friday pizza social
Guests are welcome to use our outdoor kitchen, complete with pizza oven, BBQ and bar. Each Friday we host a relaxed pizza social, open to anyone staying with us. If you would like to join us for Friday pizza please add this to your basket at checkout. It's a lovely way to ease into the weekend.

The Jurassic Coast
Step beyond your hut and discover the best of both Devon and Dorset. Explore the ancient town of Axminster with its bustling Thursday market and historic Saxon minster. Wander through the independent shops of Bridport, and soak up the wild beauty of the Jurassic Coast along miles of beaches, cliffs and coastal paths. With Lyme Regis, rolling hills and picture perfect villages nearby, there is plenty to do if you feel like a little adventure.
