Janey and Simon are rooted deep in the heart of Pommerie, a place born from their search for a more grounded way of life. After years of city life, they felt drawn to leave behind the noise and reconnect with something more meaningful - a life shaped by the rhythm of the land and the quiet restorative power of nature.

​From the moment they arrived, they fell in love with the stillness, beauty, and character of the landscape. Since then, they have devoted themselves to creating a sanctuary for others to find that same sense of arrival. A sense of peace, connection, and belonging.

Simon has hand built many of the thoughtful spaces you will find here, while Janey’s transition into sound and movement has shaped the rituals offered in the studio. Together, they have created a quiet retreat where quality, care, and a true connection to the valley are woven into every stay.

The name Pommerie is inspired by the ancient heritage noted in the Domesday Book under the tenure of the Pomeroy family, and the centuries old cider orchards which Janey and Simon are carefully restoring today.
